This series of illustrations was created as part of a social media campaign for Highland Park Distillery, located in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. The campaign, which utilizes Instagram's multi-image carousel, shared weekly chapters of the story of Magnus Eunson, the company's founder. The campaign's goal was to bring attention to their new label, aptly called Magnus, now available in the US.
Magnus was of viking blood, and set upon building an illegal distilling operation in the dark shadows and secret places of the mysterious Orkneys. His story accounts his hiding from the law, capture by the tax man, and eventual enterprise bringing his whiskey to America.
